Verdell was born in Jackson, Mississippi. She was a resident for 42 years and was a child care worker.
She is survived by two sons, Michel Green and MarQuice Duncan, and two daughters, Anjoli Graham and LaShana Graham, all of North Las Vegas; four sisters, Rosetta Green and Pearlena Turner, both of Las Vegas, Louetta Taylor of North Las Vegas and Roberta Cole of Pittsburg, California; one brother, Joe Nathan Green of North Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is Thursday, June 23rd. Funeral Service and burial is Friday, June 24th at the Macedonai Baptis Church, 2600 Clayton Street, North Las Vegas. Burial at Eden Vale Memorial Park
