Vivian Lee Desherlia

Our mother, Vivian DeSherlia, passed away peacefully in her home on December 6, 2020 at the age of 71. She was born in Chicago, IL to Roger and Shirley Rupp and graduated from Amundsen High School in 1967. In 1974, Vivian moved with her parents to Las Vegas, NV and started a career as a casino dealer. She met and married her husband, Wayne DeSherlia, in 1977. Later in life, she studied elementary education at UNLV. Vivian loved historical European society and often read of those times, including an obsession with the TV series Outlander. She loved her family and grandchildren and was thoughtful and generous. Her love will be remembered by all of us. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda DeSherlia with her three grandchildren, Andrew, Kalie and Maddy. A private family memorial was held in her home on Sunday, December 13.
