Wanda Strong

Wanda Maurine Strong, age 84, of Las Vegas, Nv.  Passed away peacefully on Sunday July 15,2018,  at her home surrounded by family. She was born April 29th, 1934, to her late parents Ernest and Ida May Coop, in Dallas, Texas. Jesus Christ was always in her heart.
On April 4th, 1951, she married Glen Strong in Winnemucca, NV. She was an accomplished nurse, business owner, golfer and member of many ladies clubs. She loved to cook, bake, decorate, sew, play cards, and enjoyed many hours of shopping. She had fun dancing and singing with her husband. Wanda's best days were enjoying time with her big big big family that she dearly loved. She had the ability to see the good in all things and the willingness to forgive. No matter where, no matter when she was there for her family or friends. She had a heart as big as Texas!!!
Wanda is survived by her husband Glen of 67 years, baby brother Richard Coop, Children, Karrie and husband Jon, Cheryl and husband Raymond, Ernest and Mark. Grandchildren, Richard, Rechelle, Corinne and husband Jim, Jammie, Abbigale, Mallory and husband Roy, Courtney, Ashley, Jessica, Christopher, Jakob and AJ. Great Grand Children, Haley, Christian, Shelbie, Katherine, Hannah, Michael, Lillie, Maddie, Lexi, Jordan, Sydnie, Felicity, Charlotte, Nadine and Harper
Services will be held Monday, July 23rd 2018 at Bunker’s Eden Vale Mortuary, 925 N. Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89101. The viewing will be held from 11a.m. to 1p.m.  The Memorial will follow from 1p.m. to 2p.m.
Wanda was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, true angel in our hearts.  Forever missed... NEVER FORGOTTEN...   “Bless Your Heart Mom”
