Obituary
Wilma Jean Patterson was born in Birmingham Alabama on Saturday December 17th 1949 to Cleveland Gully and Gladys M. Boyd . She passed away on January 6th, 2020. She lived in New York City for five years, and then moved to Las Vegas Nevada, where she lived for 50 years. She married twice and had three children. She taught as a teacher's assistant with the Clark County School District before moving onto to work at Rancho High School as the job coordinator director.

Wilma was a fabulous cook and she loved to bake for family and friends. She enjoyed dancing, and singing to her favorite old-school music. She also loved to go to the Vegas strip with her friends and families to eat at the buffet, going to concerts, and shopping. She delighted in spending time with her grandchildren, it was the highlight of her life. Wilma had several brothers, Tony Ray Gully, Anthony Gully, Charles Boyd, and Micheal Clark, and sisters Gwendolyn Jackson, Marsha Williams, and Amy Hawes. She is survived by her three children, Robert James Walker, Rosalind Walker, Melissa Diane Patterson Nava-Caamal, and her six grandchildren. She was the aunt of six nieces Valencia Larry, Deidra Forbes, Melanie G. Jackson, and Lauren Gully, Bridney Chobb, Kimberly Antoinette Gully, and two nephews, Herbert Williams III, and Kevin Hawes Jr. her cousins Melinda Gray, Theotis DeYampert, and Orlando DeYampert, and her sister-in-law Kim Clark Gully, and Beverly Gully and brothers-in-law Herbert Willaims Sr., and Kevin Hawes Sr.. First and foremost, we give all glory and praises to the true and living God. We give thanks to him for our wonderful mother of 70 years. We will miss our grandmother so much. Our family is forever grateful to all of her friends, family, and co-workers.
